Fans of Smokey Robinson and figure skating is in for a special performance, in Smokey Robinson: Tribute On ice, the legendary R&B singer, songwriter and producer performed live as a stellar cast of olympic, world and national award-winning figure skating champions hit the ice and payed homage to one of the music world's greatest contributors. Todd Eldredge (1966 World Champion) was a fan of Robinson long before he skated to his classic songs, but he also adds that the tune he was one of his personal favs. It was on november 11th 2009, at the St. Pete times forum in Tampa (FL), that the sound of blades cutting through ice and air were juxtaposed with the unforgettable, Silky Smooth voice of The world's greatest poet. 01.
